Invest in Youth

EDUCATE YOUTH

• $100 Pays for one youth to take the GED high school equivalency exam
• $495 Pays for career assessment tests for 47 youth interns
• $1000 Provides full tuition and books for one youth for one year at City College 

EMPLOY YOUTH 

• $1,204 Employs a youth intern for one month at 30 hours per week
• $5,500 Installs a heating system to make Pedal Revolution, our bicycle sales and
• repair shop, a comfortable workplace for youth
• $15,188 Provides a full scholarship for one youth intern at Ashbury Images, our
• screen-printing business
• $25,540 Builds a new storefront to attract more customers to Pedal Revolution,
• creating more jobs for youth

EMPOWER YOUTH

• $495 Gets 11 youth to work on time by providing transportation passes for one
• month
• $750 Provides a Thanksgiving party with turkey and trimmings for 100 youth
• and their friends at our Youth Space
• $1,700 Buys a Macintosh computer and software to help youth learn web and
• video production skills
