How it Works
Youth visit New Door for an overview of our employment program. They receive an application to fill out and bring it back for an interview.
The interview gives New Door staff a chance to get to know the youth and their background to best support them moving forward.
Youths participate in 72 hours of training before placement in an internship site.
Once the youth is matched to a worksite business partner, they will meet with their workforce advocate and worksite supervisor to discuss expectations and create a work schedule.
