Personalized & Incentivized Learning
Earning a high school diploma significantly increases available job opportunities. About half of the young people in New Door’s Employment Program have dropped out of high school at some point. To help, we offer our Education Program so that young people can earn their high school equivalency and secure a job.
Every young person in our Education Program can count on:
Individualized
curriculum for each student, specialized to their needs and goals.
Supportive
environment, focused on community, led by skilled educators.
Flexible schedule
so students can balance school with other responsibilities.
Extracurriculars
like film club, yoga, field trips.
Test fees paid
for GED and High School Equivalency Test (Hi-SET) exams.
Stipends
for students’ class time, so they can afford to invest in their education.
